Generally speaking I haven't got a lot to report. Photographically I have not done a great deal and hence the reason I am blogging a photo I uploaded in July (that and the fact that it is relatively thematic in a Halloween related way).

Recent trips to the cinema have included seeing 500 Days of Summer, District 9 and Zombieland all of which were very entertaining and well worth a see. I for see Zombieland becoming a part of our ever growing DVD collection it was that good. Hopefully we will go and see Up tomorrow.

TV has provided us with the conclusion of House followed by the start of a new season of House. Neither the season finale nor the start of the new season failed to please.

Tru Blood drew to a close which I can honestly say did not bother me a great deal. I find the whole thing a little too soft porn to be taken seriously enough. I did enjoy the Sookie Stackhouse novels but the televised Sookie is not really as I had envisaged her! Equally the best character is now dead! Which I knew was going to happen so no biggie there! The best thing about the whole damn TV series was the intro titles and music. Shame the rest of the show did not fulfill me as I had hoped.

Chuck is sadly also tiring - I wish they would just ditch the whole 'Sarah loves Chuck, Chuck loves Sarah but no one will do anything about it' story line. Please just get it over with already! Sadly if they killed her off he would then spend the next 13 episodes being all emo about her!

I have not really decided on Flash Forward yet! I like the idea but I have no real connection to the characters yet, despite this now being about 3 episodes old. Hopefully it will broadside me with something making me care why the whole world suddenly blacked out and dreamt about their future. The bigger picture of 'are they all not just becoming players in their own destiny as they are all inevitably driven towards some inevitable conclusion they dreamt blah blah blah' is not as gripping as I had hoped! (harsh - perhaps!)

The new season of Doll House has also to really grip me but based on the last episode of the first season I have high expectations that it will not fail to please!

One thing that does please (as always) is the new cycle of ANTM - It never fails to please - Go Alison! Damn spoilers though!

I finally finished Picross 3D and have picked up where I left off in Ninja Town. We have also got hold of Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box which is keeping us entertained. Despite completing Fallout 3 and most of the DLCs it continues to provide me with hours of fun. I keep meaning to return to Fable II to completed the new DLC but find the temptation of roaming the Waste Lands way too good :-)

The wedding plans are progressing nicely and despite a few minor set backs we are making good progress. Sadly we seem to have lost our cake lady and need to find a new one. Luckily we had not parted with anything by the way of a deposit.

One other piece of news is that I have booked a session at the local tattoo parlour - something to start filling my right sleeve. I have several ideas of what I want there and have finally committed to the first of about 3 pieces. I will post pictures once they are available.

I am sure I have forgotten to mention something, but can always post it later. So for now adieu x
